S Fold Curtains are simple yet very elegant and are probably the most popular curtain-type today. You can see them in almost every top-rated reno show and high-end magazine, and if you are planning on building a new home, you have indeed visited several display homes where you have witnessed what a luxury atmosphere they can create.

What is an S Fold Curtain?

"S Fold" refers to the "S" pattern a curtain makes when it's hung on the track. Other names include: Ripple fold curtains and Wave fold curtains

For the most luxurious look, we recommend you go the full length of the room (wall to wall) and also floor to ceiling.

What finish styles are available?

Most of the fabrics have a "weighted base" where the material is manufactured with the weighted hem. Other materials will have 75mm double base hem. This information is available on the product page.

How can they be installed?

Installation methods are either Outside Fit - to the window architrave, under the cornice, or on the wall, or Ceiling Fit - into the ceiling, pelmet or bulkhead.

Even though the sheer fabric is lightweight, be sure you have a suitable fixing point available as plaster alone may not be strong enough.

What is the maximum width available?

The maximum width in a single piece is 4800mm. For longer widths, you will need to order two or more tracks, but they can be joined together. Please contact us if this is what you require.

What are the available opening directions?

Our S Fold Curtains can be manufactured as Centre Open, Left-Hand Stack or Right-Hand Stack.

How are they operated?

They are hand traverse only, using the flick stick. Available flick stick sizes are 750, 1000, 1250 and 1500mm with 1250mm being the standard for all curtains under 2500mm drop, and 1500mm standard for all curtains with a longer drop than 2500mm.

What is the stack size?

The approximate stack size for S Fold Sheer Curtains will be 1/3 of the overall track width.

What is the return size?

Standard S-Fold return size is 80mm. You can also have a 150mm return, which will come at the extra cost. Please get in touch with us if you require a longer return.
